Some Other Awesome Campaigns to Check Out

Gage and the Dragon's Tear, issues 1-4

Gage and the Dragon's Tear is perfect for readers who like medieval fantasy, anti-hero stories, and indie comics.

Gage, AKA the Wraith, is a renowned thief and assassin. There isn’t much in the realm that is out of his grasp should he wish to obtain it. The White Dragon’s Tear, a gem with rumored mystical powers, is one of the few things that has eluded him. After having been missing for several years, the Dragon’s Tear has finally resurfaced and Gage might finally have a chance to get it.

Now in Issue 4, Gage’s quest to steal the Key of Fairington has begun, but is the quest even real? Does Gage know more than he let on to Lord Cain?

Meanwhile…

Raven travels toward Dusk with Boris Rasgin, at Lord Cain’s request. Is Boris someone Raven can trust, or merely one of Cain’s henchmen with ill intent for Raven? Is there trouble around the corner for Raven?

Check it out here.

  • Stickers?
  • Buttons?
  • Mini-prints?
  • Coasters?
  • Bookmarks?
  • Magnets?
  • Something else? (I’d love to do plushies, but we’d have to make one heck of a large stretch goal! It is definitely something I want to do sometime in the future though :) )

OTHER COOL CAMPAIGNS I’M IN!

Concrete Arcanum

Concrete Arcanum is ending in last than 24 hours!

The veil is lifted! The masquerade is undone! The mainstream mundane world has been made aware that magic is real, monsters exist, and all manner mythological people still walk amongst us! Some rejoice at this brave new world. Others hate and fear what they don't understand. Still others treat it like it's just another news cycle. Nevertheless, this revelation will have ramifications for every sapient being on Earth, human and otherwise. Concrete Arcanum is here to answer the question, "What would happen if magic were to step out from the shadows?"

Anyone who loves The Magicians, The Dresden Files, and the works of Neil Gaiman is going to love Concrete Arcanum!

I have a short story with Abby Butler in this beautiful anthology! Magical beings have announced themselves to the world, and well, parents will be parents, worried about their daughter dating a vampire. The daughter and her friends hope that one day their parents will understand, but in the meantime, there's real dangers going on as a wizard is trying to mess with time!

Check it out here before it's over!

Have you seen the cute paper-cube toy of Fang?!?!
over 1 year ago – Fri, Oct 28, 2022 at 10:38:45 PM

Prior to the last campaign, Jayel Draco of Oneshi Press designed the adorable paper cube toy of Fang!

The awesome thing about this toy is that you get it in every pledge level.

So, even if you just want to support the campaign at $1, you’ll get the print file.

Check out the video of me putting it together (note this was from the Issue 1 campaign, so if I’m talking Issue 1 numbers that’s why :) )

https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?ref=watch_permalink&v=873407973544856

For my newsletter today I wrote a haiku “from Fang” that I wanted to share here as well:

Stuck inside this house

Reliant on my servant

Hungrier, I grow

I’ve been considering writing some mini-stories/poems most days of the campaign and I’m curious what you’d like to see?

My thoughts are either using a random word generator and using 3-4 words I have to use, or backers can vote on some words I have to use in a story or poem :)

They won’t all be Fangs related, but will be speculative fiction in nature and some will be from the Fangs universe!

And now I want to share some other awesome campaigns:

No Spell Lasts Forever #1

A noir urban fantasy comic about a magic user who makes a deal with the devil for a second chance at life.

No Spell Lasts Forever is a forthcoming six-issue comic series written by Sarah Cooke, with art by Aimée Hawley (scroll to the bottom of this page for a four-page preview). This campaign will raise funds for the first 21-page issue. It is a noir urban fantasy about a magic user named Rosette Diamante who, after meeting an untimely death, makes a deal with the devil for a second chance at life. Her task? To corrupt one truly good soul.

If you're a fan of fantasy, magic, and awesome female leads then check this out! It also reminds me a little of Richard's plight, trapped by an evil entity!

CRIT: Caffeinated Chaos - A D And D Adventure Story

Based on a D&D campaign, CRIT is a modern fantasy adventure that reads like an episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia meets TMNT.

I love this sub-headline as a mash up of things! Always Sunny + TMNT? Sounds like a good time.

If you like stories with vigilantes, detective work, mystery, and tongue in cheek humor, then check this out!

Plus, there's this variant cover option with a large cat, so, bonus points there :)
